Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in a concierge setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and accuracy.
Schedule & Duration:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Minimum 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with ACR, MQSA, and state guidelines
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, reporting any issues promptly
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
Qualifications:
ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required
Current New York State license required
Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography (concierge/private practice experience a plus)
Strong patient-care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
