Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Engineer – Finance amp; HR bThe Center for Elders’ Independence /bis a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly) organization (PO) that uses an interdisciplinary team approach for care planning and implementing purposeful high quality, affordable, and integrated health care services to the elderly. Our elderly meet PACE requirements as prescribed by CMS and are referred to as participants. Our PO includes Adult Day Health Centers and primary care clinics, promoting participant autonomy, quality of life and the ability for individuals to live in their communities. bThe Position: /bWe are seeking a Senior Engineer – Finance to oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of mission-critical financial applications within our organization. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency, reliability and scalability of financial software applications, ensuring that they support day-to-day business operations. You will also manage systems integrations, troubleshoot complex issues to drive continuous improvements in our financial technology stack. bKey Responsibilities:/b bCollaborate with cross-functional team:/b Work closely with finance team, business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for financial systems. Translate these requirements into technical solutions that enhance efficiency and meet regulatory standards. Ensure alignment between business objectives and application capabilities, delivering solutions that support both short-term and long-term goals. bIntegration Management: /bOversee the integration of financial applications with other enterprise systems, such as HER, CRM, banking systems, and third-party data sources. Ensure that data flow is accurate, efficient, and secure across platforms. bSystem Optimization amp; Performance Tuning: /bContinuously, monitor the performance of financial applications, troubleshooting any issues, and implementing optimizations. Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability and scalability. bSecurity and Compliance: /bEnsure all financial applications are built with robust security measures in place to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. bProject Management: /b Lead projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, resources, and priorities effectively. Coordinate with product owners and other departments to ensure deliverables meet business needs and are on schedule. bDocumentation amp; Training:/b ulliCreate and maintain technical documentation for application configurations, integrations, and system workflows.b/b/liliDevelop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use the applications effectively.b/b/liliProvide ongoing support and guidance to users, troubleshooting any challenges and answering questions related to the applications.b/b/li/ulbEducation amp; Experience:/b ulliAssociate’s degree in computer science, information technology, Finance, or related field./lili5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on financial applications./liliProven experience with financial systems, enterprise applications, and accounting software./li/ulbTechnical Skills:/b ulliDeep understanding of financial systems and applications, accounting software, financial reporting tools, and payment gateways.b/b/liliExpertise in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).b/b/liliFamiliarity with regulatory compliance standards and financial auditing processes.b/b/liliStrong communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives.b/b/liliStrong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to financial systems and applications.b/b/liliFamiliarity with PRINCE 2 or other project management methodologies.b/b/liliBasic programming/scripting skills (Python/ JavaScript) for automation or troubleshooting.b/b/liliExperience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and re[porting tools to extract data from financial applications for analysis and reporting.b/b/li/ulpCenter for Elders’ Independence is a PACE (Program of All- Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization that uses an interdisciplinary team approach to care planning and care implementation for the purpose of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly, including an Adult Day Health Center, and promoting autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals to live in their communities.
