Construction Healthcare Superintendent
About the Company
This is a reputable Construction Management firm who operate along in the state of Florida, they have a huge presence in Tampa and the surrounding areas. This is a growing firm with a growing reputation, they are specialists in healthcare projects. They have been in operation for close to 20 years and are going from strength to strength as an organization.
They provide a vehicle allowance/truck and full benefits package including 401k.
They are now seeking an experienced Superintendent with a background in healthcare commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Implement short-term look ahead schedules from the project schedule
- Perform quality control inspections
- Communicate with other team members (Project Manager, Assistants, Safety) to ensure a smooth project execution
- Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure contract compliance
- Oversight of Assistant Superintendents, Laborers and overall responsibility for site work and progress
- Inspect subcontractor work to ensure alignment with contract obligations and quality standards
- Hold weekly safety and subcontractor meetings
- Monitor work of all hired trades (Carpenters, Laborers)
- Liaise with Project Manager on project risks including safety, supplier issues, site conditions, scheduling
Experience Required
- At least 5 years’ experience working as a Superintendent for a General Contractor or Construction Management firm
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Experience of managing healthcare commercial projects between $25-100million
- Quality Control
- Excellent written and communication skills
