Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, field supervision, and safety compliance, with the ability to lead teams effectively while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical work for heavy commercial and industrial projects.
Lead, mentor, and manage crews of electricians and apprentices.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and general contractors to achieve project goals.
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily activities to maintain productivity and efficiency.
Oversee material handling, equipment usage, and quality control.
Conduct job site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
Provide technical expertise and resolve field issues as they arise.
Track project progress and report regularly to management.
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience managing heavy commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (Florida).
Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documents.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in scheduling, resource management, and project reporting.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
