Saint Luke's Health System is a nonprofit, faith-based healthcare provider serving the Kansas City region. Following a merger with BJC Health System on January 1, 2024, it operates as the area's primary healthcare provider, covering 67 counties in Missouri and Kansas. With over 12,000 employees, it is the third-largest private employer in the region and has a rich history dating back to the founding of Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City in 1882. The health system includes 10 hospitals and campuses, offering a wide range of services across 65 specialties. Key facilities include the flagship Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, the Mid America Heart Institute, and the Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute.
