Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing health, housing, and supportive services across the United States and Puerto Rico. Established in 1982, VOANS operates under faith-based principles to assist vulnerable populations, particularly seniors, low-income individuals, and those with physical or mental disabilities. The organization focuses on two main areas: affordable housing development and senior healthcare services. VOANS manages over 250 affordable housing properties, offering approximately 13,000 units. It also provides a range of healthcare services, including long-term nursing care, assisted living, and home health care, serving more than 7,500 seniors annually. With a team of over 3,000 professionals, VOANS emphasizes service coordination to help seniors age in place, assisting over 9,000 residents in their communities. Each year, VOANS impacts the lives of more than 32,000 individuals through its comprehensive programs.
