Geisinger is a comprehensive regional health care system based in Danville, Pennsylvania, serving over 3 million patients across 45 counties in central, south-central, and northeastern Pennsylvania, as well as parts of southern New Jersey. Founded in 1915 by Abigail Geisinger, the system has expanded from a single hospital to one of the largest integrated health systems in the United States.
